I was quite busy this weekend and my plans of hog hunting for at least a whole day ended up being a total of the last 4 hours of daylight on Sunday. Saw quite a few deer working their way towards the big lake. I am going to be camping up at Tejon this next weekend until Sunday afternoon. Hoping to tag my first pig. Am told anything under 125lbs or so should be quite delicious.

Greyghost...don't hold back if you see something bigger than 125! If they're eating well, the big ones are very tasty too!

By the way, trying to judge their weight on the hoof is a real crapshoot anyway... they're really hard to judge, even for long-time experts.

If you see one that looks good, shoot it. You won't be sorry.
