03/02/2011 wild pig hunting at the lake right now,beats work!

Already spotted a 400+sow 2hrs ago a mile and a.half on the other side of.a.ravine, after sum humping to the area I stalked the area for an 1 1/2 but no luck. It made it to the ravine bottom out of sight, I wait till the evening hunt and come back and glass the area again. Just got back to the suv and going to another area. Stay tuned!......tra

Just got done with another area some will recognize, no piggies to be seen. Moving to a new area. Hunting with 3 different weapons today, first compound, just finished hunting with crossbow and now I am going trad rest of the day, I am not board st all, stay tuned!

Well I concluded my ls hunt for this season, this will be it till November again. I had an awesome day of hunting public land for wild pigs. Can't wait till next season! Heres photos when I got to the hill where I saw the monster sow, talk to ya later! ........tra

Thanks for the report.
We are heading up this Friday and Saturday for a kayak in hunt.
This will be my 11th or 12th trip up there and even though I still have not stuck a pig personally, it is a really fun place to hunt/hike with bow in hand.
Wish us luck, as this is most likely my last hunt for pigs at LS this season.

Yeh it was weird yesterday morning at the vistor when I was registering a big white rig pulls up by me and asked if I was russ, I said no and he says. Are.u sure.Yeh I am sure. Then I noticed the big sign on the side of the truck ( wild pig hunting inc.) I said u are George m. I hunted with Mel at his place before, it was all good, he was waiting for his client russ for a hunt.
Well I had an awesome day of hunting ls yesterday,can't wait to get back up there. Have a great day!......tra
