Sounds too good to be true - any one ever dealt with this company - supposedly they make encore barrels too -- almost sounds too good -- any comments?

EABCO is E. Authur Brown Company. They are a very reputable firearms supplier. They sell all kinds of 10/22 upgrades as well as Thompson Contender and Encore barrels and accessories. They also sell a very custom single shot rifle and pistol of Mr. Brown design. If they say they have a converson, believe it!

Its no joke!
EABCO has the lowest price on a conversion for the 10/22
for 17 hm2
the others are Volquartsen you will need barrel and bolt about the price of two
10/22s or more
http://www.volquartsen.com/default.asp?cat...%29+Accessories

Then there is Magnum research system also in the $300+

http://www.magnumresearch.com/Expand.asp?P...tCode=ABAR17HM2

So who is gonna take the plunge. EABCO looks promising if it works

In the mean time I willcontinue to shoot my 17 Aguila in my 10/22.

I just want to know what was done to the bolt handle it sound interesting. I'm thinking weight of some type was added to the charging handle so it slides back and forth along the guide rod. It's a good price on it also $160.
I was at a gunshow this weekend and a guy had some 10/22 barrels for sale that he had relined and chambered to 17M2 clamed it was working fine for him but would not go into details on what the cases looked like. I could tell you from the looks of the barrel relines job he really did not care if it was safe or not. All the barrels had really bad clowns on them and one the chamber was so out of round it looked like an egg.
