2012 Wyoming Elk Hunt Help

So I am going to have 5 pts going into this years hunt in WY and was looking for some info on where to put in for. I believe I have max points. I was thinking about putting in for area 100 but it doesn't have very good odds for non-res (8%). I am looking for somewhere with a good bull to cow ratio and high quality bulls. Figure with max point to go after the best areas. So any suggestions anyone has is greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance.

As I was reading your post, area 100 came to mind but looks like you know already. Have you checked hunterstrailhead.com or monstermuleys.com which both have the draw odds to compare, although they do appear to still have 2011 odds loaded into them. Of course they only give odds and not quality. Monstermuleys also has a forum which may help you with your questions. I'll most likely be running around one of the GEN units northwest of there this fall. Good luck!

I have 4pts going into Wyoming this year, but I may just apply for another pref and wait until 2013. I tend to hunt a wilderness area and such go with a guide in the upper Green
