Got out today for a Afternoon pond session it was real windy and in my face and hot and humid.
After about a hr of casting frustrations and no action I was just ready to go back home and as always I was trying to get a few more wasted cast in down the bank and 6 ft from the bank I was reeling my frog in just a few inches of crapoy bank edge cover a bass tride to slam my frog once and it missed and as I am still reeling it in it try's to slam it again and misses and right at the edge of the bank its comes out the water hard for the third time and strikes again and this time it didn't miss and I sent the hook hatd and fast and had it on the bank and in hand quick. I forgot to do a vid but I made up for it at another pond were the action was good and got a another decent one so I did a short clip I ended up hoo ni I n.v e 5 bass in th that pond all drinkers except the one. So it started out crappy but worked out at the end. There was a nice osprey flying over me and the pond lasts a sign fish r there....tra

There's a golf course just a few blocks from my house but the water hazards are small and just deep enough to support a bunch of minnows, crawdads and frogs. You can over fish them with a dip net.

Hit some ponds yesterday for the sunset bite. Hooked a total of 5 bass, 2 were good size and the others were small. Hooked 4 on the frog and one on the Sticko. Still about almost 4 more months before primetime spawning begins. July through February is a long time and the hardest times to constantly hook bass but I work hard at it to make it happen and keep me going to gook the one. Thnx 4 following my post and get out and hook one today!.....tra
P.s. u can see in the one pic of why I have to run heavy gear to land these bass were I have to RIP out the water grass out with the bass.
