I'm new to hunting. I just bought a Tikka t3x superlite in .308 win. Whats everyone shooting? Brand, weight? I plan to reload so any recipe suggestions are welcomed. Thanks

Hello Navy guy, I run a Remington 700 in 308. Not the greatest of rifles but my optics are on point.

I use Barnes Vor-Tx All Copper bullets. You can buy less expensive ammo to sight your scope in and target practice. Then use a couple of the Barnes ammo to make any other adjustments if needed.

I have a 30-06, Weatherby and went through a lot of different ammo to see which it liked best. Barnes copper 165gr was 2nd, the Hornady 'Super' 165gr was the tightest groups.

My european rifles seem to like barnes vortex or federal trophy copper in 180 grains for pigs. For some reason, they hate hornady gmx. Ruger and Christensen shoot the gmx good.

All my rifle hate Hornady GMX. I’m talking 1.5-2” groups at 100 yards vs, Barnes shoot sub 1” group all day long. I’m still not a fan of the solid copper bullets but watcha gonna do..???
