Tinhorn.  I remember that you came up with a mod to the regent ms-20 to make it run on a 6vlt latern battery.  Currently, all of my cams run on 12vlt.  I was wanting to convert them all to 6vlt.

I have searched thru the old forums, and jesses' how-to list, and don't see it.  I am probably blind, but figured it would be easier to ask you.

Thanks again.

Btw:  did you ever do anything with all that "statistical" data you were keeping on deer, date, time, moon, etc...

The only thing I did different on my 6v and 12v ms20 sensors was the relay.  A 6v for the lantern battery and a 12v (and 1 9v) for the  12 v battery.

GTK,

this is how I convert to the 5v reed relay. I learned from TINHORN(THANKS BUD). you just put the 5v relay in and you can run ANY 6V POWER SOURCE you want.

You can remove R1 as well.

Any questions just ask

GTK,

Dave's got what I do down pat!

Here's another pix of an MS20, similiar to Dave's, for using a relay (no timer)

Here's the Mods for using the MS20 on either Brian or JoeD's Timer IC's

I never got around to completing the Moon Program, using pix data, but there is some info in the Lunatics Forum, on actual Hunts vs Seen Deer/didn't see deer.  There are some graphs based on Moon "Postion" and based on Moon Phase.....
