A couple shots from my Hike the other night

There is a little blur in the moon. It was low light and I had to slow the shutter down and open the aperture to let some light in.

This was a tree burnt by the 2003 Cedar Fire. I thought it made a cool b&w.

Nice shots, I really like the tree. Is that the actual photo or did you mono-tone it in post processing??

Chris, the first one is just resized and the second one has the color removed. I would have liked to have had the kit lens with me to get a better and broader shot, but only enough room in the backpac for 1 lens and I was looking for deer(which I saw 3 does at about 400+ yds).
