I have a few days off of school so I went out looking for sheds today. I thought that most of the bucks would have dropped there antlers by now so I was hoping to find a bunch. The first group of deer that I saw had a young buck that had shed so things were looking good. Here is a pic of the buck, he is second from the left.
Then after walking for about 2 hours, I saw someone walking about a mile away chasing all the deer towards me. I thought that I saw a shed in his hand but am not totally sure. When he saw me, he turned around and left. There was also a truck driving around the fields but I don't think they found anything. I went over to were the main herd of deer was and started looking. In total, there were about 10-12 bucks with both antlers and one buck with one antler. I got a few pics but the deer were to far away and the heat waves were bad so they didn't turn out well but here are a few of the bucks.
I have until Monday to find some sheds so I am hoping that the deer drop within the next few days so that I can find a few before they are all picked up. I won't able to go looking again for 2 weeks after the weekend.
