I finally found some open water so I decided to try out the Oly C-750 on Waterfowl.

Nice looking shots. That top Mallard in the last pic looks like some kind of cross bread. Notice the hook on the end of the bill and the white chest feathers.

Excellent pics. Rel clear and vibrant color, too.
Are these wild ducks or park ducks? If wild, how close were you to them?

PowDuck,

It's the only open water around, so some are park ducks, and others are a bit wild and have been hunted. When I got within 50 yards the Geese got up, except for the injured ones. I shot all these at full zoom, it was hard since they were moving with the current. There were a few mergansers also, but they wouldn't let me get within 100 yards! Most of these pictures were around 20 yard shots or closer. I took a couple shots of geese in flight, but the birds were a bit fuzzy.

One of these days I'll figure out how to use this camera, but until then auto does pretty well!

Thanks all for the kind words, but its the camera that takes great pictures, not me!
