Well now that hunting season has come to a end we took the skiff out for a few hours this after noon for a so-so pick on the bass, I was joined by fishing buddies Billy and Raymond for the trip. We stayed way inside fishing the jetties and the shaled(spelling) bottom due to unstable wind directions. The fish were caught on 3.5" and 4" Big Hammers and BassTrix swimbaits with Larry's Calico Sauce to help encourage the bass to bite in the cold water. We ended up with 18 legal bass with the fish running 14" to 19", 90% sand bass along with a nice calico and a fat spotted bay bass, oh yeh one 20 inch flattie.
Here's a typical bass for the day caught by Raymond, his first real saltwater fishing trip.

No freight trains but a few nice ones, all fish were released!
