A Pig Tail...

Last week I came up on a group of pigs at Fort Hunter Liggett,

All different sizes and colors

The little ones are squealing and playing

As I watch the pig train start to decend...

I catch something out of the corner of my eye from 20 feet behind me... look close... you'll see her head

There was sow who was in labor right behind me... she'll be fine, she laid right back down and went back to having babies.

Very cool! It's pretty awesome to live in a place where you can run out the back door and see that sort of thing.

Also pretty cool to live in a place where you can stock the freezer as needed with fresh pork!

Thanks Chris.You guys are like a vacation for me, gawd we have fun here. I have been known to horse trade a little... Really need some camera /high speed chase photo advice... Mr. Speck will probably share his porch... lord help us when the barley comes in around here.
