A quality wildlife habitat with no-man refuge areas

To our right, a half dozen wild turkey roamed for seeds under an oak, on the move. A quarter mile south, we spotted a pheasant, which quickly ducked into a manzanita thicket. A mile later, in a ravine above a 1-acre pond, a bobcat lay prone in the high grass....
