No.....would never talk smack about my own brother. LD's just jealous that we won't invite him, but we sure could use a new camp 'mitch' this year. We'll call'em a Matt in training......yeah, don't tell'em i said that.
Tell ya what, we'll all come to Colorado and shoot your elk/deer...then you can come to CA and shoot our hogs......that my friend, is one fair deal. kinda.
I work too damn much, i hunt so i can forget about it for a few hours.

Dang! I think Chopper is going to have to set minimum size of hogs that can shot so there will be some left to hunt! Although seeing all these comments I'm kinda glad I missed that 50 pounder on my trip last fall!

Now that you mention it they was a funny color blue when they got back. I thought it was the lighting. One of them was shaking like a hound passin a peach pit.

Nice hogs by the way ladies, even that one still in pooberty. I sure wanted to chase pigs but I couldn't pass up the turkey action.

Welcome to JHO Hiwbiwwy, it seems like we may have a brother tag team here... Do you kill as much as your brother? I sure hope not. Maybe you got all the looks and he got all the skills.

Hey guys lets not talk about pink fletchings, they are my favorite.

Threads like this make me realize I need to take up bow hunting. Last time I shot a bow "compounds" were just coming out (28 years ago) at least that was the first time I started seeing them everywhere.

I know I could do it, I just don't know if I would like to hunt anything but hogs with a bow. I been deer hunting for years and it takes a different breed of hunter with REAL patience and a lot of going home empty handed to hunt like that.

Congrats to all of you guys. Joking aside my curiosity is getting the best of me..... how many of you would have passed on the small hog?

I shot the smallest hog (I think) at Feb POR and it weighed field dressed 87lbs, I didn't think twice about taking my hog especially since my son was able to take his simultaneuosly 5 feet away.

Thanks Orso. I don't know about me getting the looks, but he sure did get most of the skills. Actually, I think I taught him most of those skills.

Pass on a small hog?
Why them ones are by far the best eating.
I'd post some pictures of a pig eradication I helped perform and got to keep half the spoils. But they would probably offend the sensibilities of some here on JHO and reveal my preference for the thirty pounder.

AS, I dream of that stalk on that boar almost everynight. We need to get back up there and find him.
