A9/B12 Montana Cow Elk trip 2008

I got my A9/B12 cow Elk tag in the mail a couple of weeks ago and am trying to get as much information as possible before we go in mid november. Myself and dad are goinig back. We also are planning to do some bird hunting while were back there, taking my wirehair. We will be hunting in units 620 and 622 the missouri breaks. I have already got the Montana block management maps and am in the process of getting the BLM maps for the area. Anyone ever been there? This is our first out of state trip so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I wish I could help but I've never hunted in that area. I've always hunted public land with someone that knew their way around. I know that Montana's block management is intended to open private land access. Good luck!
