I think several of those bugles mean "human jam." Estes Park was home to the elk before human set foot on it. I'm leaning towards what the elk said "human jam" rather than what the human said, "elk jam." Looks like the elk want their lands back.
I've been up there a few times in the past, but I'll always remember the first. I was walking down the main street in Estes Park, and there were Aspen trees on the sidewalk that had been rubbed. Bark gone, deep gouges. I asked a shop owner what it was from, and he said, "The Elk". Funny, they're laying in everyone's backyards.
