Animal issues top commissioners' agenda

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Issues surrounding the black-tailed prairie dog, the grizzly bear and sage grouse will be discussed at the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission meeting this week.
The commission meets Thursday and Friday.
On its agenda is a briefing on the status of the black-tailed prairie dog's possible listing under the Endangered Species Act and the state's management plans for the grizzly bear and sage grouse.
The commission will also set wild turkey spring hunting seasons and late migratory game bird hunting seasons. And they will hear an update on the agency's license issuance plan.
