Another stab at those Sonoma hogs

I'm out the door in 20 minutes to get the afternoon hunt in at Sonoma. Beats the hell out of working

With the break in the weather and another storm coming in tonight plus the moon phase being good, I hope to see some piggies. Maybe even slip up on one and stick 'em! Hopefully I'll post up a story

I just did a last minute check on the weather. Looks to be mostly clear then clouding over and the showers starting at 6pm. Could be dicey if I have to follow blood in the dark!

Just got home. Nothing to report really Saw some hogs across the lake in the no hunt zone, probably 15-20 in total.

I walked quite a bit and checked out some new area as I got there early. I was seated at 4:20 in the area I as last week hoping the hogs would move through again. I waited until the rain started at 15 minutes left in shooting time and deceided to stak through the area. Nothing moving except deer. I saw 6 deer with a few of them well wthin bow range. Almost no fresh rooting or tracks since the last ran but I don;t know when that was, I assume late on Monday.

Still a great hunt but no action. Next time.....
