Antlers In The Velvet

I was just reading about deer and Elk antlers and came across this on Kingsoutdoor world.

Yup, I think it is the fastest growing tissue in the animal kingdom.

Think about it, they grow a huge set of antlers in a very short amount of time. Same with the deer, your talking just a couple of months or so and boom, full head gear.
