Any good over the counter Elk tags CO,ID,WY,UT,MT

Are there any over the counter elk tags in the Western U.S. either sex that could produce some meat this year? I missed the draws any info helpful.

There are still tags available in Idaho.

If you do archery, there's lots here in OR either sex mostly. If it's just for meat, it shouldn't be a problem.

If you want a cow hunt, the Palouse unit early season antlerless, any weapon, private lands only hunt of Idaho is my recommendation. It runs from Aug. 1st to Sept. 15 on private farm land only, but permission is a snap due to all the damage they cause. Just call fish and game and get a few names of damage complaints and youll be elk hunting private land in no time. Plus the elk are great eating then from grazing on wheat and garbanzo beans all summer long.
