Any hogs close by??

My wife wants to drag me down by Julian around by Lake Cuyamaca Thanksgiving weekend. Anyone know of hogs in the area to get me out of the trailer???

Public or private land? I don't hunt down south but you should try asking the guys at southerncaliforniahunting.com
There's quite a few who pig hunt near imperial I think.

So you can disregard my post off the bat if you choose, I have not hunted pigs in SD.
However, I have read that there is a huge pig population on public lands. The issue is that they are in such remote wilderness, that they are hard to get to and get the meat out. I would check out the local outdoors shops or closest Turners to get info.
The local DFG warden could also put you in the right location.

I just looked at the pig harvest numbers 2010-2011=8 pigs taken in San Diego county. Not good.
