Anyone going to either of the elk seminars this week in Phoenix? One is tomorrow (Thursday) by the Rocky Mountain Elk foundation, and one is Saturday by the Arizona Elk Society.
I've never been to one of these, and am wondering if it is worth going. Although I know very well the unit I'm hunting, and what to do once the elk is down etc. I am guessing that it is more of a place to see "stuff" and talk to outfitters and swap stories with other hunters, and an opportunity to join either organization.
