Anyone build a OLL AR-15?

I'm looking to build one. Already have a M-4gery built on a FAB10 lower.

I built one this spring Stag lower and the upperbuilt with parts from several companys. Still need glass for it (weaver 1-3) but that needs to wait until after deer season.

I just ordered my lower from CMMG. I haven't even decided much of what else to buy yet, but my goal is to have the shortest legal weapon over. Probably go with about a 18 inch barrel and a short stock. Red dot and a light, maybe a laser too.

Zombie rifle.

If you are gonna build one, I'd do it soon. Upper receivers are taking months to build because of the demand right now. We are expecting another federal ban again. I would actually bet on it, it is just a matter of time. I fear it will even be more restrictive than the last one. The fact that you ordered a CMMG is good news. Read the laws, and then read them again. Everyone has a different way of interpreting the laws. Many gun shop owners don't even understand the laws, but if you understand what is (and what isn't) an "assault weapon" you will be able to politely defend yourself if the subject comes up. We are at a time when it is tough to go out and enjoy these types of weapons becuase there are LEO's out there that will enforce their interpretation of the law. A lot of people will have the "bring it on" attitude, but the bottom line is this: If a cop wants to confiscate your weapon, that's what they will do. It is unfortanate, but too many people out there don't want these scary guns out there. One of my rifles is a Fab-10, and even though many of my friends laughed when I bought it (7or 8 years ago), I am glad I have it. I know that sealed mag well is without question not an assault weapon right now, whereas the bullet button/ prince-50 (which I have one of each sitting in a box) is subject to interpretation.

I've built a few of my own and a few others. All have been bullet button builds, although I have a stripped lower and have been considering doing a featureless build as well. I have 3 Spikes lowers and 1 Bushmaster carbon-15 lower

In process. Originally wanted it for my wife but now I'm thinking about getting a couple more lowers for a varmint rig and another zombie rifle. They're fun. Super easy to build! A monkey could do it, guess that's why the .gov chose them!

if your sick of waiting check out riflegear.com or gunbroker.com they have a few cmmg barrels in stock. if you want a complete upper check marksarmory.com, got my cmmg upper from them loved the service and best of all had the upper in 7 days from the date of purchase. there are alot of places out there with complete uppers, why torture yourself and wait
