I haven't hunted them yet, and I don't know if I ever will. LOL I keep buying points just the same. Good luck.

Yeah, my cousin drew a 111 Late hunt tag last season. He shot a bull that would have been about a 350 class bull. But, it had been fighting and lost about 25" of brow tine and whalebacks.

I'll post pictures when I make it over to reno and teach him how to attach a pic via email. It has good mass and outstanding daggers supposedly.

The snow was too deep for their horses so he had to hire an outfitter with mules to get into where he had scouted several 390 class bulls. He did get within 500 yds of 2 370 class bulls but did not get a shot op.

I've been applying for the past 8 years and still trying. You have as good as a chance as I do. I always look at the draw results every year and some people draw with 0 bonus points. Best of luck to you. 111 sounds great, how about 231?

I had a tag in the mid-1980's (killed a 6x6) and spend each rifle season in 111 and/or 231. The best draw odds are in 111. There are still some great bulls in that part of the state, but the herd quality has dropping off significantly recently. In the last couple of years the number of 350+ bulls spotted each season has decreased from 3 to 5 per day to 3 or 4 per season...
Don't get me wrong I am still applying, but my dream of a getting a tag and killing a 380+ bull someday has changed to getting a tag and killing a 350+ bull someday.
Unfortunately, most hunters think the herd hasn't changed and it seems like every outfitters client wants a 380+ bull, but they just aren't out there like they were 5 years ago in Nevada....
