Just thought I would open this up again, since I trashed-up the thread on the Events page. (Think I had ten out of the last ten posts.) Don't know if I am just way more excited than everyone else, or if you guys are all working harder than I am.

I'm confirmed for the South Side. I'm pretty dang stoked about it.

Russman is on the waiting list.

It's fine by me. Just looks like the hog forum has kinda taken a hiatus lately. Maybe everybody's out chasing turkeys. Hard to say.

Well I got my fingers crossed. I am not wishing anyone ill will, so Im hoping someone gets a new job or maybe a winning lotto ticket and they find something more important to do.

One week from today, we'll be huntin for hogs! Should be fun. Hopefully the weather will move through before we get there.

One track: I wish you luck on the hunt. Get that late Fri night stake out, and bag that pig. You guys should have decent weather compared to our March POR.

I'll Be on the north side again with my son and a few friends.
Anyone thats needs to borrow some rope I have a 600' spool. I'll be in a white F250 crewcab SD. Those of you hunting the south side I have a copy that will print on a regular sheet of paper. I traced most of the roads so you can see them. If you want a copy send me an email and I'll try to send it to You.

I certainly hope that visibility is much improved at the higher elevations on the North Side as compared to March. That fog nearly ruined the hunt (though not completly).

Good luck you guys, wish I could chase some hogs again but turkey season calls right now. Take plenty of pics also for us spectators this time.

Don't forget to wrap a tape around any hog you get or can measure for our girth/weight chart. Just measure the chest behind the front leg and record the weight and if on the hoof or dressed out.
