Archery Elk on FHL

If anyone hunted the new either sex archery season this year, please respond with your experiences. I have a cow elk tag for Thanksgiving and would like to hear how your earlier hunt went.
It looks like the weather should be fairly good for the hunt. I know some of the big puddles will still be present, on the roads.

Hi CL. Is your hunt a rifle or an archery hunt? If it's rifle you should have no problems filling that tag. If they run the hunt the same way you will have access to a few zones that will be designated for elk hunting only. By the end of the archery season most of the elk had pushed up in to the off limits area ( cantonment ) but I would guess that they have moved back out into the rest of the zones by now. If you know which zones you'll have access to let me know and I can help you with a few spots. You can send me another PM with your phone number and email address and I'll help as much as possible.
