Very sad indeed. It is bias-misconsrtrued-out of context $hit like that gives Californians' a bad name. Personally, I don't know anyone that feels that way and I go to school in the bay area. I know people that don't or wouldn't hunt, but to take such a stand bases soley on emotions is ridiculous (Hume would be proud). Thank God for sites like JHO that spread the gospel and joy of hunting. These people are out for keeps and I don't think we, as hunters, can let these accusations go unanswered.
What's up with getting thrown under the "gutpile" bus, AGAIN!

It seems to be women leading these groups, and the sad thing is they will keep hammering at it until they start getting what they want. I agree with the one guy who said it is part of our heritage, and the feeling that there is nothing better than being in the outdoors challenging yourself with hunting game.

Not that I wish harm on people but these are the people I don't mind reading about who get mauled by wild animals. Crap like this just pisses me off and makes me want to move out of this PC don't want to offend anyone and animals hold more value than people state. But where ever you go there is no escaping it, and damn near impossible to have a civil conversation about it because they (tree huggers, animal rights activists) are so stuck in ther ways.
