We all as outdoors sportsmen should be curtious and respectful no matter where we go...shouldn't just be there at LS or whether u a fishermen...a hiker... a bow hunter or a rifle guy

Excellent photos. Nice to see that after a hard day's scouting, you got to unwind with the grand-baby. I will be hunting next weekend. I feel so sorry for the Corp that the budget has been so slashed. They are so apologetic on the phone for not having camp sites available. I am staying at the private campsites sponsored by the Marina, but they take advantage of their sole availability and I will be paying much more this year along with having to launch my boat and pay for a boat launch each morning. I sure hope we can figure out the budget soon so we can all enjoy the camp in only sites.

There are no pig hunting zones a tag is good for the entire state. All they will sell you is a 2013-14 tag. If you are refering to the special permit you need to hunt lake Sonoma you need to buy that at lake Sonoma or get ahold of Rachel from the visitor center online.

My buddy saw someone bag a pig...the guy said he saw a group of 15 or more pigs and he shot the smallest one....he didn't tell me where the guy got it but that it was in the steep area and a lot of hiking...good luck to all

Question, leaving early in the morning by boat before sunrise, is it legal to illuminate the shore to look for pig activity as long as I don't shoot them. I know it is illegal to use any artificial light source "to hunt", but if I see the pigs with a light, shut down the light source, and then park my boat a cove over, wait until shoot time, and come around behind them, is that legal?
