I propose that we attendees do something for Phillip

for organizing this event. He's undoubtedly sprouted an added grey hair or two from putting this event together.

I've got an idea of what he might like but I'd need to order it by this weekend. Reply to this post if you're in and I'll budget based on how many replies to this post--if all 50 of us chip $5/ea. that ought to do it.

I'll pass the hat around @ camp Tejon/JHO.

I'll email all those who email me asking what we'll be getting for him.

wmidbrook, I am not on the Ham Slam list but I have seen the work and effort that he has put forth to put it all together. I believe he has teaching qualities in that he enjoys others doing what he loves so much and he made it happen on this occasion
