AVCHD - playing in blu-ray quality with DVDs

Well-known member
For those of you that have Blu-Ray players that have AVCHD playing capablities.

AVCHD is pretty sweet. Basically take your HD footage and play it in full HD (Blu-Ray) quality only using a regular DVD burner and regular DVD-R media.

Finally got it figured out after reading lots of old info on the net. All you need is Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c or any other editing software that can handle the .m2ts files that most HD camcorders film use and a fairly recent version of authoring software. I'm using Sony DVD Architect 5. the best part of it all is being able to just use your regular DVD burner and DVD media.

if anyone wants help on how to do it, just let me know. thanks!
