My daughter and her friend drew these tags.

She will take either a .260 with 140 gr. Partitions or a 30-06 with 150 gr. Interbonds. Totally up to what she likes and feels comfortable with.

Has anyone hunted this unit before? This is a December hunt and was curious what to expect with a 12 year old.

It's fairly steep, thick pines and oaks, and it will be probably be cold! There are a lot of elk though. Hunt most any of the drainages off the the road between the 260 and Young.

Captain Dan and I will be travelling out there in a few weeks to scout it out. Suprisingly, I found a weekend that I did not have booked up as of yet. This will at least give us the lay of the land and to meet some folks.
