AZ Elk Hunting

Hey everyone. Great site here. Finding it realy helpful. I've hunted Elk in Dolores, CO. I was wanting to find out when the season in AZ opens and what is the price for the tags. I'm on the list for a proclamation but trying to see if I can get any info sooner. Even if it was the 2002 info. It would be nice to make this year. Thanks again.

It depends on what season you want to hunt. Archery, ML, Rifle. The first seasons start in late August / early September. The last ones are in December. $113.50 for hunting license and $366.00 for a NR Elk tag.

I hunted 4 A North last year for COW Elk I took one as did my buddy. Area was great we stayed on a Ranch mostly outside of Winslow great place lots of Elk, and Antilope. The Racher let you use his ranch to hunt and camp just sign in and leave it as you find it. Great place If you pick that zone let me know and I will give emore details on the area.
