Az juniors elk hunt

Well no 1st elk, - but she did get to see a huge 7x7 bull take on a small 6x6.

The only bad thing was, - the big bull took the cows that were with him; - & right out of her sights.

She thought it was pretty cool seeing that, and can't wait until next year.


Anybody else have a junior that went hunting this year? Any luck?

I'll be taking my son on a jr. ML deer hunt in 16A in Dec. Can't wait. In the mean time, I will be looking for a Bull in 7W next month.

Sorry to hear that AzJim but it sound's like you had a awesome time with your daughter, we will be heading up next month for our general rifle bull hunt. We have been scouting and have seen a few, but the horn growth seems to be off.
