Going to AZ for some archery javelina around Tucson.

Nada para mi.
But I only put in for the Gould's turkey, what else could I expect !
I might get a leftover javelina tag.

Out of the three archery javelina hunts I put in for I didn't get any. That bites. And according to this year's rules they're going to take my money for a hunting license anyway... even though I now don't have a reason to go use it.
In two previous years we got drawn for our 1st choices so I was pretty sure I'd get a tag. I was obviously mistaken.
If AZ keeps this system of issuing a license even if you don't get drawn for tags they can kiss my checkbook goodbye.

It's been like that in AZ for 3 years. Most states now do the same. I cannot apply in California, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Idaho, etc without buying a license.

There are 1,000's of leftover Javelina tags in good units. You can still get a tag and use your license.

I drew a 36C tag for rifle. First Jav hunt so I am stoked. I also just filed my paperwork for a illegal tag. They are being issued in sets of ten, and from what i have seen i will not have a problem filling them.
