Az Unit 10

As the Sept 17th Archery Elk hunts near,thought some maybe Interested,in this unit 10 note.As if AZ G & F didn't have enough problems,this Season,seems that just recently the Navjo Indian Nation,that owns the Boquillas Ranch in unit 10 has all but locked THEIR gates to this much hunted property.For sure on the "Deeded" properties,that are home to many of this units elk herds.

Don't figure the "NATIONS",would close the Doors to ALL hunting,in the future,but with "ALL" the USO business in Az this year

It was just reopened today. Some roads may take a while to fix, and the word may take a bit to get out, but elk hunters should have access to most of it.

Traveling over to Unit 10 this weekend,to Scout a Oct 1st Antelope hunt.Will be on some of the "Boquillas",will pass on about the closers when next WE "chat"

Just returned from a 3 day "Scouting Trip",to Az unit 10/Boquillas Ranch.As stated earlier from Dawg,THE RANCH is "OPEN"

,well most of it.Still closed is the canyon rd. between Picca Camp and Rose Wells,and gates are still locked above Rose Wells to Rose Wells,all because of road damage from severe rains and travel afterwards.

Sign in areas are still at Picca Camp and the other Ranch # ??? on the south side of Seligman,Az.44 m.m. from the Supia Rd and Ash Fork areas and from Tin House in the upper N East side.

Oh yea,did I say the "BULLS" are "Scream -In"

on all of the "RES" lines and saw plenty of GOOD "LOPES" for the upcoming "OPENERS".Looks like a good Sept and early Oct hunts,for those "LUCKY" tagholders in "UNIT

I am headed that way next weekend to stay until I get my bull, or the season closes on me. Should have a pretty good idea of what is there with almost two weeks to scout. I am starting to get excited now. Hope I have enough time left for WY lope, NM deer, etc, but have to make this one #1 and worry about the rest after it is over.
