We had a wonderful time and took lots of game. Food, lodging and hospitality were marvelous. Here are some pictures:

I cannot say enough good things about Jim, his staff, the food, the game and how easy he made it for us. The pre-filed SAP forms with the service he uses went so smoothly it was amazing. We were done and through while the "regular" non-hunintg folks were still going through customs!

That gun doesn't look like your 358. What caliber/load were you using?

Nice assortment of trophies, I can see why you had a great experience.

Congratulations!

Nope - I only used the .358 on my kudu. I accidently dropped the bolt into some fine dust, and gummed up everything. It misfired a few times, barely denting the primer. Not having any Gun Scrubber or something similar, I used Dave's .375 H&H Model 70.

Great pictures Rick! Looks like you had a great time with JJ. I am headed out July 11th. I am really starting to get pumped up. Post more pictures when you get a chance. By the way, did you fly via SAA from JFK or another way? How long was the flight?

BigSwad - I flew Delta from Atlanta. It was about 18 hours of flight time, plus an hour or so on the ground in Dakar, Senegal.

I'll post some more pictures - giraffe, brsuh country, etc. when I get back from the dentist.

Are you hunting with Jim?

No not this time. But it sounds like he did a great job with you. My friend that is going with me was born and raised in RSA, and he has friends that are PH's and Outfitters, so we are using them this time.

I'm sorry--Is the warthog the one in back or the one in front????

You forgot your 45 acp clips when I left. I'll mail them with the other stuff when I get a chance.
