Well 7/1 thru 7/3 we loaded up the horses and mules and headed for the back country. My daughters, my girlfriend, my dad and I set out for the 6 mile trek. The girls fished a little with no success but they still had fun. We spent the days super lazy and taught the girls to play hearts. I did some glassing but nothing was moving in the daylight hours. The deer came in and around camp at night. One night I shined a flashlight in the big meadows and eyes everywhere. So nocturnal was the word. No deer pictures but lots of scenery shots, here is a couple. IMG_20180703_141111328.jpgIMG_20180703_144457976.jpgIMG_20180703_113601574.jpgIMG_20180703_113551389.jpg

Sounds and looks like a great trip, thanks for the report!
I don't know any hunters that don't dream of a horse/mule pack trip into the back country.
The stone stairs look like something the Mayans could have build.
