Krispy Kreme donuts. . . I have the bakery here close by and it is unbelievable how many they throw away each day. Dumster diving is an artform. lol lol lol gotta watch out for those yellow jackets tho. . .

Make sure you throw in other non-sweet items. Pastas, meatballs, etc. as they do like a variety and will get tired of too much of just one thing.

I like to add big bags of salted popcorn just before I hunt as they really love this stuff. Something really different and they snuffly them up like a vacuum cleaner. You buy big bags of popcorn from Movie Threaters if you talk to the manager. . . or just make it up yourself. Pretty cheap bait and they love it.

I use a lot of fish. but I live in a fishing village , and can get the discarded skeletons after the fillets are removed, and I also use the deep fryer fat, from the fast food resturants. I tie a couple of buckets to the base of a tree, where I will be given a good shot from my stand. I loosen the tops , but leave them on,to keep out the rain until they find them. They will drink most and spill the rest, but they will keep coming back to dig in the dirt where the oil spilled. This helps keep them around when all the other bait is gone. I also use apples after they start coming to the other baits. I use bread and bakery products , most of the stores will give you the time expired stuff off the shelves. The more the bait site stinks the quicker you will draw them in

Deep fryer grease is another great bear attactant. If you talk to some managers of resturants they may save it for you, ......or.......you might have to go grease dipp'n (in the big grease collections bins behind restaurants).

Use it in conbonation with feed oats, and meat scraps from a butcher shop.
