Hey Ohio, I live just east of Cleveland. This is my second year in the game. I found three last year and one so far this year. I don't claim to be an expert, but you know what they say, four eyes are better than two. If you need some help, check your pm.

OhioBowHunter-give me a overcast day or a light rain anyday over a blue bird day with the sun out to be out looking for sheds. With out the glare of the sun sheds are easier to see.And when the ground is wet the leaves lay flatter and sheds no longer look like the many sticks laying around. When fresh sheds get wet that outter coating on the shed makes them stand out better.
Don't confine your searches to trails, bedding and feeding areas only.Follow the fresh sign for this time of year. They can lose them anywhere at any time.
Congrats on your finds so far and good luck adding some more.

Thanks CB! I was told that another shed hunter had found fifteen in the area. He does not have permission but this land can be reached undetected through a state park. Last year I found two sheds in standing cornfields, a small 3-pt and a rough scored 72 inch 5pt. These small cornfields are very wide rowed and clean - If there is a shed in there, it has a good chance of being found! You are right though; they can be very difficult to see at times. Seen a small 6 pt with one side still attached on Thursday - March 18. by Red Wing Minnesota. Is Everyone close to being done shed hunting for the season or are there a few straglers left in the woods?

Shed hunting is just getting started for me. I find most of my sheds in June and July. Going to a spot on Saturday that I hit last year in late May and found 22 in under 2 hours.
