Berkley Goes to the Races at Texas Motor Speedway

Berkley is supporting the Speedway Children's Charities by being the title sponsor for Fish and Fun at the Races at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. The first annual event at the TMS lake will be held on April 5th from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Fish and Fun is set for action just before the start of the O'Reilly 300 NASCAR race. Approximately 500 youth are expected for the event.

"The sponsors involved are pleased to be able to support a great charitable organization as well as to promote youth fishing,î said Andrew Marks, Marketing Manager for Pure Fishing. ìAbu Garcia and Shakespeare are providing rods and reels and Berkley is supplying all of the bait as well as making a significant contribution to Speedway Childrenís Charities.î

The lake has been stocked with over 900 pounds of catfish ensuring that fish will be caught and fun will be had. Event t-shirts, hats and sunglasses will be sold at the event. All of the money received from the event will be donated to the SCC. As an added bonus, if a child is spotted wearing the Fish and Fun at the Races t-shirt by one of the "Lug Nutz" ñ staff at the O'Reilly 300 and the Samsung 500 ñ they will receive a special prize. These may include Berkley hats, koozies and other fun items.
