Best area of Wyoming for public land hunting

If you were to live in Wyoming, where would you choose that would give good public access for mule deer, antelope, and elk? Also, not looking for drawing trophy elk tags and such, just ability to obtain these tags yearly and hunt on public land.

I was thinking Gillette for mule deer an antelope, and also being close to mt and sd for archery mule deer tags as well.

What are your thoughts?

Your best bet is to read the drawing odds statistics posted on the WY game and Fish web sight. Easy access and easy reading. They have all the maps including interactive with land ownership and GMU unit boundaries etc. right at your finger tips.
