Picked up my new TC Encore and mounted scope and sighted it in. I'm supprised at how accurate it is. Once printing 2'' high @100 yds i was able to get consistent 1 1/8 inch 3 shot groups ,the first 2 shots would be 5/8 inches apart and #3 would open up to 1 1/8''. Only factory ammo is Hornady 300 grain rn and sp. so just ordered dies and bullets by Barnes, Woodliegh and Hornady.We'll see what kind of improvment if any, handloads will make. Underestimated recoil and got bit on the bridge of nose and eye. So just ordered a Burris short mag scope for some longer eye relief and a limb saver recoil pad. Think i'll be ready to give Pig-Guide a call about his Bakersfield property .
