Thanks a lot Jesse. I'm having a blast. Keeping busy and traveling to places I've never heard of. After being ther, I know why I haven't heard of some of them.... Hope all is well with you. Will you be at the ATA and SHOT again this year?

I'm about a mile or less from Stoney Run. What's a Lure-coursing trial?

Lure-coursing is a field trial for sighthounds. We run a continuous loop of line (powered by an electric motor and fly wheel) around pulleys over a 600-1200 yard course. The pulleys create the turns that simulate a rabbit running. Plastic bags (occasionally fur) is used as the "lure".

ASFA is the major sanctioning body, but AKC trials are held also.
