Does the smell of death ever keep them off the feeders?

I will never forget years ago at the lake with a couple of other members here, one had arrowed a pig out of busted big group. Gutted it took the pig to the lake edge to cool in the water. Then they came and got me to see if we can get a another pig from the group but by the time we were back where the other pig was shot and gutted which wasn’t probably 30 minutes the group of pigs came back and ate the pig guts from the pig they shot just a little bit earlier and ghosted out if there, pigs are cannibals, So I would say the smell of death attracts them…..tra

I have yet to see any pig eat another pig. When pig blood is on the ground at the feeder they will still come in and eat the corn. When they’re done eating they will smell the blood. They look like they are mesmerized or in a trance doing it. Pigs are much more civilized here in Texas then Florida!

Man I shoot depredation. I have come back to load the ones I shot and shot pigs eating them many many times. But like I said I shoot depredation and they are a problem.
