Boone and Crockett Club Presents New Season of Hit Show

7/2/08

MISSOULA, Montana-Hunting deer in Colorado, the most prolific state for record-class mulies. On to the No. 1 producer of trophy pronghorn-Wyoming. Then to Montana for a chance at a giant bull elk.

These and more hunting adventures-along with the conservation successes that make special hunts possible-await viewers of Leupold Big Game Profiles presented by Boone and Crockett Club. The hit show's third season kicks off Thursday, July 3, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Outdoor Channel.

Episodes will air three times a week: Thursdays 8:00 a.m., Fridays 12:00 noon and Sundays 10:00 a.m., all times Eastern.

"In the first two seasons, viewers enjoyed our show's documentary-style, in-depth look at the big-game treasures that have always captivated hunters. This year there's a new twist. We're using the Boone and Crockett Club archives to point our cameras toward destinations noted for producing record-class game animals," said Keith Balfourd of the Boone and Crockett Club.

The show will carry into 31 million homes one of the Club's core messages: Maintaining records of native North American big game is a valuable tool for measuring the success of wildlife management programs. For over 120 years, the Club has been a leader in recordkeeping, conservation, fair-chase hunting ethics and education.

Leupold Big Game Profiles is in partnership with Leupold, Dallas Safari Club, Remington, Cabela's, Mossy Oak, Walker's Game Ear, Crooked Horn Outfitters and Boone and Crockett Club.
