A Lonely Land (Show 10)

Airs the week of December 3, 2007

Editor Dwight Schuh loves hunting wild, lonely places, and that pretty much describes the country of Namibia in southern Africa. Joined by TV Producer Larry D. Jones, Dwight embarks on a far-flung adventure for kudu, blue wildebeest, gemsbok, and other plains game, courtesy of Bowhunting Safari Consultants and Allan Cilliers' Sandveld Game Ranch.

Prolific Pigs/River Bottom Whitetails (Show 11)

Airs the week of December 10, 2007

Bowhunting opportunities for wild pigs abound, so when the winter winds begin to howl, Equipment Editor Curt Wells and TV Producer Larry D. Jones team up with the crew from Double Bull Archery for a ground-level assault on Texas hogs at South Hills Ranch. And in the second segment, Assistant Editor Brian Fortenbaugh, his dad, Rick, and hunting buddy Tom Gaul return to Bob Harris's Montana Whitetails to hunt big bucks in the cottonwoods.

Tools For Elk (Show 12)

Airs the week of December 17, 2007

Sometimes a do-it-yourself elk hunt demands every tool in the box. On this public-land adventure in northwestern Wyoming, Editor Dwight Schuh and Publisher Jeff Waring employ a variety of hunting methods before they finally take their mountain bulls.

Stag Party (Show 13)

Airs the week of December 24, 2007

Equipment Editor Curt Wells and TV Producer Larry D. Jones trek to the bowhunting paradise of New Zealand to hunt "the roar." With Outfitter Gerald Telford, Curt and Larry stalk free-ranging red stags and prove that some of the same tactics used to hunt elk in North America will work just as well down under.
