The BBB is getting ready to kick off for the 2nd to the 9th of May, 2004. The first 4 days will be exclusively for hunting and the last 4 will be filled with hunting and vendors. Guests are of course encouraged to check into the shows, fishing, shopping you name it while sharing in an overall great time - right in the middle of America.
We have had nothing but spectacular support from Bowtech all along and this time is no different. This Bow Bash will be even better because we have a 2004 model Bowtech Patriot Dually that Bowtech is donating as a grand prize for our Bow Bash!!!! That is almost a $700 bow to the winner of the largest turkey harvested with a bow, for the Bash. Ben Pearson has also jumped into the game and donated a Spoiler Bow for the largest turkey harvested by gun. This bow has an MSRP of $389. WASP broadheads, BoDoodle rests, Carbon Tech arrows, ScentLok, Wildwood, and many more have jumped in as well to guarantee a great time for all who make it.
Last year, we had so many prizes, we ended up reraffling at the end and some walked away with 2 prizes!!
As an added benefit, guests staying at either our resort or the next door resort are entered automatically, free of charge into the hunting contests. Those who only want to enter the contest can fill out an entry form plus $25 and submit it to us before the 1st of May to also be entered.
We also have guest speakers from the MO. Dept. of Fish and Game, NWTF, and my personal favorite - Mike Blanton from Hunter's Friend to help archers enhance their knowledge of our beloved sport. Moose Allen Archery will be onhand again this year to run another 3D tournament as well as demo'ing some of the latest gear on the market.
There are still several companies that are on the fence at this moment so we have not set everything in stone. I will keep everyone updated to the latest events and changes, but can assure you, it will be even a better time this year.
