My question to you is, does it bother you that Conservation groups such as DU, CWA and the NWTF can buy access to the DFG?
As an American it really bothers and worries me. When these groups pay for biologist and wardens salaries how can we trust them to be unbiased? If a biologist knows that how he or she reports data could directly affect whether they have a job doesn't that seem rather frightening?
If you think this isn't a problem just wait until the anti's wise up and start out spending the conservation groups for access. Will you be so happy then? I for one would like to see the ability for Regional DFG officials to be given free hunts and dinners ended by law. If they aren't going to be ended then they should have to be reported like is mandated of politicians. It's bull that these bureaucrats get kickbacks when members have to pay for conservation dinners and guided hunts. What ever happened to Republican party? I used to think they would fight this type of injustice, maybe it's time to become a Libertarian again.
