RoosterKiller gets that honor! That man had the plan of the weekend, and I believe is the only human who has a confirmed sighting of pig in the SD River drainage. Of course, this was a while ago (and well before the Hog Exodus!)

I appreciate everyone's kind words; I had a great time last weekend; y'all are a great group and I'm looking forward to more!

Hey Guys,
So get this, I was talking with a forest ranger ranger yesterday on the North side of Palomar and I was telling him about our efforts to get the pigs. He swears up and down that he has seen a few of these 100lb'ers out by palomar. I said "Oh come on, they are just a mythe or an urban legend". And he tells me its not a mythe, but they are just scattered about and they have moved past Eagle peak and are widley dispursed, but he is a 100% sure they are out there. (Good luck on irradication) So he says, just be advised that if you are scouting (D-16) which I was, to make sure you bring your pig tag just in case.....Hmmmmm.....I still kinda think the pigs are ghost. I do believe they left the C.N.F thats for sure.....

The pigs must be taking an astronomy course at SDSU or something and that is why they are near the Palomar observatory.

The pigs are still there. Stay close to the oaks in the bottoms. Best time time to look for them is December and January when there are acorns all over the ground. This is a public land boar.
