I think I just saw last years winning bidders on "Elk Country journal" on the Outdoorlife network. Did anyone else see that?

It can be easy to "win the auction", just keep your hand up!!! Keep your check book close by as these tags went for 41,000 and 42,000 last year. How about a raffle tag for this hunt? Sorry, I forgot they already have one, its called the regular draw!! Only two bull tags allowed??? Must keep those bidders happy, glad to see that they left us regular folks at least as many tags $$$$$

Isaw that show, I know a guy that hjas a ranch east of San Jose that get tule elk tags every year, and has a waiting list of people to buy them for 10,000 a tag. If they are going to give these people free money basiclly they should have to oopen there ranches to the public for deeer and pigs? Just make them give something back.

On another not I was at the safari club dinner in san carlos and they auctioned off a open zone deer tag, 22,000. thats a lot to shoot a deer.
